Lauren grew up in Utica, a predominately Italian city in upstate New York, where she was no stranger to the kitchen. Her family spent a great deal of time preparing feasts for large, often weekly, family gatherings, where desserts were a necessity. Some of her best memories were in the kitchen with her family, watching her grandparents slice a freshly baked loaf of biscotti.

Now, her passion is to help people connect & build memories over a good, old fashioned Italian dessert.
